I just got a 2000 blaster and I've put dg nerfs,k&n filter, and itp holeshots. I currently have $180 and was wondering what should be the next mod I should purchase. Thanks

 

Well for $180 your options are pretty limited, you might be able to get a pipe, but probally just the pipe. Nerfbars? Handlebars? I just ordered a armadillo 6 pack rack, cascade polished bar clamp, msr bar pad, and a neon blue gas cap hose for like $100... Those should be here by the end of next week.. If I were you I'd buy some nice handlebars or something? I love my new bars, feels like Im riding a big old hog or something.. Anyways for $180 you can pretty much get one big thing or a bunch of little things, its all depends on what you preferr..

 

Im not really sure what I want because im just getting into the sport. Most of my friends race at the local track and I'd like to start doing that but I want a competitive quad and not sure what to put my money into, like should I go for handling or power?

 

If you should go for handling or power-handling then power. How are you going to handle all the power you're bolting on when the quad is giving you a ride instead of the other way around. I however am going for power first. I've had my blaster for 7 months, never wrecked or even fallen off. I don't know why, but I just want more power. I think I have Tim Allen syndrome.

 

I've been told that a pipe will give me the biggest bang for my buck, what kind will give me the biggest power gain. Which are good for MX?thanks
