Default 2007 Big Bear "Afterfire"

I've heard people go round about backfire and afterfire so I'll start with it's not coming from the exhauset pipe but when I let off the gas or if I'm just cruzing at low speeds i get backfire/afterfire quite a bit. If I'm excelerating up through the gears no problems. Any ideas, fuel filter, plug, both? I just bought this used in March and I'm not sure what kind of maintenance was done previously.

Have you checked the exhaust gasket at the headpipe?

There may or may not be an actual gasket. But you might want to check and make sure it's seated properly.
