I have an older Yamaha Bear Tracker air cooled carb motor ( I think its a 250) and I'm not getting any fire to the plug,,,,Can someone PLEASE help me find the problem. THANKS!!

I'm an older mechanic,,so I know a little bit about what I'm doing, but have never worked on a ATV......

 

so, wiring is intact, you've tried a new spark plug and grounded it against the jug/head/cylinder while cranking to verify spark/no spark condition?

 

Yes Sir. I dont have any power going "to" the coil.......
