anybody tried a nitrous on the raptor if so let me know,how or who makes a kit if any.

 

I saw a sweet one in dirtwheels a couple months ago, mabe 2? Or mabe it was atv sport? Anwyways it was sweet.. lowered for street drag.

 

first off your crazy but if you want to see one on a raptor go to http://www.raptorzone.com and click on viewer pics. It would be a wild ride but I don't know why you would want to do that.

 

Why on earth would you even want such a thing? What good is it on a Quad besides going in a straight line only? You would be better off to sell you bike and buy a drag car if that is your thing. After you got the suspension setup to get the power to the ground, the bike would be worthless on the trails.

What is the deal with people on the forum that don't like drag quads. My 400EX is mainly for trails and MX but my Tecate 4 is for drags. I love drag racing I have always been into it. I guess it is because I live next to Milan Dragway. I have raced 5.0L Mustangs for years and quads at the Sand Drags. Some people like all forms of riding and racing, so if some people will lighten up and just let people talk about their issue. So, when people post topics on top speeds, ets and just drag racing in general, don't jump in and say it will suck for trials (who cares about trails if the person is posting a strait line issue. Also, just because people like to race in drags don't mean they can't ride. I raced MX for 6 years and have been thinking about gettiing back into it but I still love drag racing. And if any of you that says a person who loves dragracing onb a quad can't ride, up yours. I will take you on an MX track or trails any time

 

Thank you 4tecate,i am just asking a question,and am tring to find info on this subject.I like to drag on the beach where i live I also like trail,mx etc.There is alot of atv`s,cars,bikes etc with nitrous and if setup properly ,causes no damage to the engine.You also have to use common sense when operating the machine with nitrous,you just don`t push the button at will.

Cobra347, yes anyone using a NOS system needs to use common sense. It is not for MX, but in a strait line it is the most bang for the buck. Just like 5.0L's. Speaking about stangs Cobra347 do you have a Cobra with a 347 stroker? If so what does it run. My 94 347 GT ran a best of 10.68 w/ a 150HP shot of NOS. The best time I ever got in a stang. My new project is going to be a early 60's Corvette with a supercharged 2000 LS1 Vette engine (just want somthing different).

 

There will be a turbo available also...
