Yeah, Yamaha needs to do some work before they put any more Timmy Boy Design steering stems in there. While they're at it, I think they need to put stronger stickers on the Douglas Red labels, they come off when washed. Lets certainly not forget the Dura-Blue axles, a few guys on here have already had them to break. When is Yamaha going to get those dura-blue axles beefed up? Oh, and what about the Renthal Banshee bars, they tend to rub the tank of the Raptor just a bit. I think we all should just get on the phone with Yamaha right now and complain about how all the aftermarket products don't hold up so well on the Raptor. Are you following me?

Get a life guy, nobody is making you buy a Raptor against your will. If they did, then you're a wimp and probably deserve to have someone telling you what to do.

The Raptor has a good enough resale value that anyone who gets one and decides that they don't want it can get rid of it without losing too much. The ones who have kept it are the ones that realize its potential and are willing to live with any bugs that it may have.

Some chump with an overweight, underpowered and under-suspended, outdated quad isn't going to get on the message board and change anyone's mind, but they might get a spirited response from a guy tired of seeing wannabees trying to trash everybody else's quad.

Well you can't expect to win them all. Did you know that the Raptor won the "San Felipe 250"? Not only did it win, but finished 21 minute in front of 2nd (the first looser).

Currently, I'm trying to find further info as to other placements.

The first quad ever to finish the (6000 mile plus) Paris-Dakar rally was a Yamaha Blaster, I guess that that means they are the best? They MUST be better then the raptor? huh? I think not. Get a life..
