Default First Oil Change...

Hey all
I'm about to perform my first oil change since the purchase of my 2005 Grizzly 660. The guy that had it before me changed it religiously (all 366 miles of it). It has a K&N filter and I'll probably go with another one (since it has a removal/install nut already attatched) but I'm not sure which engine oil to go with. YamaLube ? Or do you all use something different ?

Thanks !

Scott

Yama lube is a rip off, it not full synthetic yet cost the same. Blends/semi's are lucky to have 20% snythetic in them.

My friends 2003 660 was bought new and still runs great. All we buy is Amsoil 0w-40 or mobile One from Canadian tire or wal-Mart.

As for Oil filter My Sportsman 500 ,Grizzly350 and his 660 all take these same spin on oil filters. 2.5" or 3.25" versions. Take your pick.

I use Valvoline 10w40 4 stroke ATV oil from Amazon or walmart. It's wet clutch approved and JASO standard. Supposed to be great and it's not expensive. The K&N filter is cheap from amazon too and I use them. They seem to have great reviews. Just do your homework and think about what you need for your own performance.
