Default YFM200 cam chain adjustment

How do you adjust the camshaft chain on a 1985 YFM200? I took a guess at how tight to set it when I rebuilt the motor on my brother's bike last year but it's time for an adjustment and I want to be sure I do it right this time.

Look on the left side on the back of the engine beside the carb there will be a oval lookin piece that has 2 bolts holding it on and 1 10mm bolt directly in the middle of the piece. Pull the middle bolt out use a small flat head screw driver and turn it counter clock wise. You don't wont to force it tight just snugg it up.

Thanks. That's pretty much how I did it when I rebuilt the top end of the motor over a year ago. I'm getting ready to adjust it again and wanted to make sure I'm doing it right.

I just finished adjusting it and it was really slack. It sounds much better now but the tensioner is nearly maxed out so I assume a new chain and/ or guides will be in it's future.
