Question Yamaha Breeze Carburetor Problem

Hello, I have a 2001 Yamaha Breeze 125cc ATV. I am having a problem with my carburetor, it is getting too much fuel and flooding out. I recently took my carb apart to clean it. All I did was remove the bowl, remove the float and needle, spray the carb with carb cleaner, blew it with the compressor, put the float and needle back in, re attached the bowl, hooked it all back up and when I switched my fuel switch on my tank from off to on fuel started pouring out of the drain hole on the bowl and started pouring into the airbox. So I removed the carb from the ATV and removed the bowl and then I ran a hose from my gas tank to the carb and pushed down on the needle and seal and gas still comes pouring out from inside the carb. It seems like the needle and seal are not working right?

Any Ideas?

Matt

Sounds like you need a new needle and seat

Default Carb problem

Hi,
Just had a similar problem with my quad, different model, same problem.

Definately sounds like the needle valve needs replacing, a word of caution - check the oil in the crankcase, my carb filled the crankcase as well as the airbox, if so change the oil otherwise you will have a real big problem.

Good luck!
