Ok I picked up an 04 Yamaha kodiak 450 4x4. Was told it just needed a rod. Tore it apart to find out that The rod broke. Took out the sleeve, possibly the crank, the oil pump, and the right side case thanks to the rod taking out the oil passage to the head. I'm new to the atv community and I am wondering what my best option is now. Rebuild, find another engine, or are there alternatives?

Sleeve - $90 (eBay)
Good Used Crank - $50 (eBay)
Oil Pump Used - $25 (eBay)
Ride Side Case - from $100 -$250 (eBay) just depends on who you get it from.

I'd try and rebuild and find new part or fine good used parts. If all else fails then get a good used engine but that'd cost you way more then rebuilding.
