Ok so i loved my 88 so much i bought a 90 big bear for the wife as well.Heres my issue....it has no fire to the plug at all so did a few testes and this is what i found.pickup coil seems to test well but source coil has no ohms reading at all.i did both tests at the same plug as there are only 2 plugs that come from the stator a 3 pin plug and a 4 pin plug. I only tested at the 4 pin plug is this correct?tested the red wire and white with green stripe and got nothing tested the other 2 wires and ohms seems to be correct.is this the right way to test pickup and source coils?if so and source coil is no good do i need to replace the whole stator or just the source coil?if i can just change the source coil how do you change it?and videos on this or pics would be great.thanks guys hope i can get it going for the wife fast so she dosnt destroy mine lol.
