Well, I have a 2009 BB and until recently the speedometer stopped working. The cable is still in good working order as I unscrewed it and rolled the bike back and forth with the square pin turning accordingly. The speedometer will go up to random numbers, stay stuck, go backwards, then forward again without any direct correlation between itself and the speed of the bike. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Also how can I take the plastic covering off to investigate the insides without breaking it? Have you ever done this or seen it done?
