My 5 year old daughter has recently become interested in driving my quad, unfortunately it is a grizzly and just a tad too big for her to handle. My nephew, who is now 16, has had a badger for a number of years although he rarely rode it after the first year (kids now days...)and I was thinking of buying it for my daughter.
Do you think this would be good for her to start out on?
She is a fairly experienced driver, at least when it comes to golf carts and tractors.
If not this one do you have any other recommendations? Thanks for your input.

I think it would be good, you can adjust the speed with the screw on the throttle, thats a good thing, teach her the proper way to ride and you might have a future motocross champion

I had a ? a few weeks ago about a quad for my 7 year old daughter. I took the advise from this forum and bought a Breeze for her. Great quad, just like my Grizzly its an automatic so she doesn't have to worry about shifting and over reving the engin. And its just big enough that she can ride a few more years than the Badger. I really looked hard at both of these quads and chose the Breeze and I'm glad I did.
