Default Timberwolf no spark after new stator

I'm about at my wits end. I have a 94 timberwolf with a no spark issue. I initially found that the pick up what was way out of spec so I ordered up a new stator/pick up. Replaced it and still no spark. I have a fluke 88 with a tach inductive and I get rpm's off of the primary wire going to the coil but the coil is doing nothing. I pulled another coil off another machine and tried that but had the same results. I've tested everything else to make sure nothing else is causing this. Has anyone seen a tach signal to the coil but its not firing? Could I possibly have a bad CDI giving out too weak of a signal?

Yes, if you are sure all the wires to the CDI are testing as right it has got to be the CDI. Why not try the one from the timberwoolf you got the coil from?
