Hi All,
I'm new to this site and quads in general, I'm looking to buy a used quad as
I really can't afford a new one. I've nailed down what I want, a Grizz 450,
I've looked at several and found one I like, it's an '09 bought in 2011 as new.
It's in excellent condition, ridden on gravel roads in the mountains of Colo.
The sticker is: it has 3200 miles and 240 hours on it, it's been well cared for
and serviced regularly, oil and filter changes is all.
What I need to know is the mileage too high? How much maintenance would
I be looking at if I buy this Grizzly? The price is good at $3800, but would it
be worth it?

Not low miles but not high as well . I just sold a 2007 350 Grizzly SRA with that mileage and it was always good but I just traded it in for a other 2007 350 Grizzly but with IRS.

My friend has a 2006 450 Grizzly all he does is a oil change once a year it still has the original belt , spark plug and anti freeze. It never gives us a issue.

It has the important options like Low range, diff lock and IRS.
If its running good most likely it will for a long , long time to come.

Not many bad Yamahas made.

 

Not bad, price sounds a little high. About $3000 even sounds better, maybe the seller is willing to negotiate a little. You can buy a brand new 450 for about $6000.
