the lenghth of rhe swing arm all depends on what kind of riding you do. myself i do motocross and xc and i went with the plus 1. if your a drag man then a plus 4 extender would suit you or a plus 4 swing arm.

mtecate4g,

Did the LSR +1 swing arm use the Raptor's bearing carrier or did you have to buy that in addition to the swing arm? What did it cost? Does anyone make an extender for the Raptor. How reliable are extenders?

Does one inch make that much difference? It would seem that you would need two or three just to notice a change??

Thanks for the info,

Roadkilljoe JTM products is in the process of making a 4 1/2 inch swingarm extension and they emailed me some photos of what it will look like and I can send them to you via email if you would like. I dont know how much it will cost because they are still undecided in which metal they will be using. one is real expensive and the other isnt as much.

For the time being, air the rears up to about 7 or 8 #s so they will not get such a good bite. Also, 11 front sprocket will help if you are trail riding.

Extremely hard!!
Every time you come to the TOP of a hill, the front end comes off the ground, the back wheels still bite & over she goes!!
Also, from a dead "hole shot" SAME THING!

I don't find it that hard. Just gain about 40 pounds. I weigh 215 and it stays down just fine. Seriously though my friend is around 155-165 and he was riding it and launched in 1st while over the bars and pulled a wheelie while spinning two inch deep ruts in the yard for about 3 feet before clutching it to keep from going over backwards. Nothing changing out the stock rear tires won't fix. The throttle also responds nicely to minor inputs I don't have much problem keeping the front end down on trails or steep hills, especially once your out of 1st.
