Well decided not to go with the Grizzly
I found a 2008 Brute Force 650 1200 miles brand new cycle country X force plow Warn winch & warn heated grips for $2500 needed to sell fast hopefully picking up tomorrow
That sounds like a great deal. Guess the seller really needed cash, that's easily worth as much or more than the Grizzly if its as nice as it sounds like it is. I really like my Brute Force 650 I bought recently, noticeably more power than a Grizzly 660.
Seems Like a good machine it needs some tinkering. I don't think anything major. I need to adjust the valves, adjust the Diff lock lever & fix the seat latch. I did find while mowing the temp light comes on fairly quick at low speeds so I will do a coolant service & change out the thermostat as it acts like it is sticking

The advantage of the 660 and you know the person and the ATVs history, your not going in blind and by the looks of the bottom pic the 660 had 900 easier miles.
Plus it has higher end new tires (not cheap) while the Kawi looks to need tires in a year or two. The Yamaha's rear seat is not cheap and it's just "gas and go" without your tinkering list.
The Yamaha just has a better reliability history over Kawasaki over all.
My friend bought a new 2003 660 grizzly 13 years ago and besides, fluid changes he only had to change the front wheel bearings.
The ATV still has the ordinal belt, coolant, spark plug and the carb has never been touched.
well been awhile but I have done a couple things to the Brute since I got it this
I got a set of bigger tires 27" Gators, added a 20" LED light bar & got a new seat The wheeler has been awesome put in a new Diff lock cable but did not help. all the wheeling I have done I have not needed Diff lock yet but I want it right so may be removing the front Diff this Spring
Love the Poly plow but Hate the Warn winch can't wait till it craps out so I can go back to a superwinch
yeah it didn't work when I bought it so I am assuming the clutch plates are worn
just bothers me that it doesn't work whether i use it or not. I still can't complain for what I paid for it
