I need a new one,Is there any improvement noticed with a k&n or uni-filter or should I just get the stock one again? Does k&n make a power filter kit? will i have to rejet with the uni or k&n?

I dont know about k&n but I have a UNI and I like them, Ill probally stick with em, much much better then the stock one and $10 or so less! And I did not have to re-jet. The filter was alot nicer than I had expected.

I would definatly go with the K&N I have one on my blaster and it made a big difference. Yes you can get the K&N kit with comes with the new jets.

This is a long drawn out argument and it comes down to who likes what better. I run the UNI filter and pro design mount on my banshee...I used to have a K&N on it before but noticed alot more fine dirt being allowed through...you ask how I know this? I put a very thin layer of grease on the inside of the intake(the rubber between the box and the carbs) and you will see the dirt that gets passed through...The UNI filter as a foam filter seems to stop more then the K&N especially if you run in fine silt and dirt...Most Duners that I have talked to will run UNI filter before K&N...just my .02
