I am looking for a good flex tubing to be used on a snorkel project. So far I have not found anything suitable

I would recommend pool hosing. I bought some from Leslie's Pool Supply in a 5 foot section for just a few bucks. I used it to remake the intake since the rubber piece between the carb and airbox had shrunk and hardened. It provided more flexibility than vinyl tubing from HD, and is "relatively" smooth on the inside...can't remember the exact material, but can look into it. I can also provide pics of my setup or the product I used for reference if interested.

Sorry, just noticed your sizes. Not sure the pool hose will be in that diameter, but maybe it will just take some digging to find it.

The spa/pool hose bends well without constricting the air flow. But thick. For example the 1 1/2 inside has an outside OD of 1.9
