I'm trying to find out if you can get tubes for atv tires and if so where can I get them? The reason I need one is because my tire leaks air around the rim. Thanks Alot

I had a tire that was leaking around the rim once. I just went to my local Wal-Mart and picked up a bottle of tire sealant (similar to Slime) from the automotive department and poured it into the tire and rode around for a while to distribute the sealant. Hasn't leaked since.

Instead of buying a tbe first break your tire off of the rim and inspect your wheel you could have some dirt or rust that could be causing the leak.

I agree with Clark, unless your tire is leaking due to being bent or cracked try taking the tire off and cleaning the rim with a wire brush then if it still leaks try some sealant or silicone around the bead. I put a tube in my quad tire only once, then every time I ran over a thorn or something I would have to break it down to patch the tube, it is alot easier to put in plugs than to patch tubes.

Kyle, you've had a lot of suggestions regarding your problem all of which are good ones, so here's another I didn't see. if you can break the bead loose or at least get as much of it loose as you can, then pour a little brake fluid all around the rim on the bead, then refill with air, 10lbs or more if you did break it down completely, then re set to the pressure you run. Altho not a sure fire cure, it some times is easier to do and uses material you may already have on hand.

I have tried tubes in my tires twice. Both times the tire shifted around and ripped the valvestem right off the tube.
Now I just fix the tire the first time.

Could that slime or tire sealant also fill in a a slight cut in the tire? I have the Vampires and I have about a 2/5ths of an inch long slit in them can I use the slime to stop this leak?

I would use a tube because i put a tube in one of my tires and it worked great the slim stuff does not work very good anyway that is only a temperary fix. You can get tubes that will fit atv tires at a tire shop a lot of tires tube that are designed for tractors will fit them
