Those are good tires, but i would also consider turf tamers too, they are nice.

Hey check out https://atvconnection.com/ the best site on the net for ATV information.

Whats the largest tires anyone has put on w/ out removing the heel guards? Looking for something w/ more ground clearance and better MUDDING.

Thanks,

Jason

Why would you be mudding a Raptor. I have a 4x4 Scrambler for sale that you should buy.

Well - Email me the details on your scrambler, if the price is right I might consider.

I used to have a 250X and it had larger rear tires and would go ANYWHERE and I mean ANYWHERE a 4X4 would go, so I'm still in shock w/ the Raptor 20" rears and was just wondering if I could put larger ones on for more ground clearance.

Dude, if you could go anywhere a 4x4 could then you weren't riding any terrain that was bad enough. There is no way that you could handle any amount of snow over a couple of inches unless it was just to do donuts on flat land. And there is no way that you could do the mud bogging that those fellas do down in LA.

for trail riding holeshots and razrs suck! plus they will last you maybe a month. they suck in mud and sand. today i was out riding and there were 5 guys with racing 400EX's and they had holeshots and they weren't goin anywhere in the sand. we were on a stock 400EX and we could go lots of places and climb steeper hills than they could. for trails get some realters or fast trekkers.

i will have to agree. my friend has a brand new pair of razrs on his 400ex and they perform terribly in the mud. my stock tires on my raptor handles much better. i would still like to get something a little less agressive for my raptor though. anyone running bandits?

My 250X had 23-24" and had no trouble going thru deep mud or snow with depths up to 8-10" or deep Water.

On the Raptor w/ all the extra horsepower and 20" tires, it is very tough to do snow over 5-6" and when the trails get Muddy, forget it!

Someone w/ some ATV experience please write back and let me know the largest tire size possible on the rear w/ out removing heel guards.

Thanks,

Jason
