Default YFM100T Moto-4 Champ Carb Adjustment

Hey everyone, looking to see if anyone out there with a YFM100 Champ can tell me what their carb settings are. I think I've gotten it set up correctly, but want to compare notes so to speak with others. Currently my main needle is set in the middle slot, the air screw is 3/4 of a turn out and can't remember what my throttle stop screw is set to. I can verify later if needed. My first issue was wrong float height so it kept dripping from the overflow. Been having a lot of trouble getting it to idle without being too high or stalling, as well as having good throttle response and smooth sound at higher rpm. Seems I've been getting one or the other until last night I think I got it real close. Here's a pic of the carb, it's a Mikuni. Many thanks!

I've been having trouble tuning mine too, does the 3/4 air screw seem to give it a somewhat smooth idle and still rev smooth?

i’m not sure about the rest of my carb settings but i had this same problem with mine. i put the circlip on the needle in the slot above the middle slot. that seemed to help me. ALSO. the valves seem to really like to fall out of adjustment on mine at least. when i got it it did not run well. i would definitely suggest adjusting your tappets. cheers
