does anyone know if the stock shee axle will bolt on a stock blaster setup. Without changing bearings and building new parts to fit and stuff? Like will the hubs, sprocket and brake rotor all interchange?....thanks for any info!!

No, the axle is not a simple bolt-in. The blaster brake rotor actually slides on the axle because the brake caliper is actually bolted solid. In all other disc quads, the rotor is stationary and the caliper is on sliding mounts. One or the other must be able to center up when the brake is applied or it will not work properly. It would be cheaper in the long run to just get an aftermarket racing axle.

Thanks, but will the rest work? I'm not to big on the stock (junk) brakes anyway. I need it wider and i can get this axle for about nothing. Will the rest work (anyone!?)......I'll worry about stoping later, it just looks and handles way to bad to hang with my banshee pals. ( it gets embarrasing sometimes)......Ya gotta represent the blaster once in awhile, for the people that can't afford the big stuff.
...Blaster is a wussy word around these parts, and i know it has major potential....But i gotta be cheap about it. So i need help to get this thing in the zone. Wheelspacers are nice but the axle will be cheaper......That story was really to long but hey la vida loca right!.......Hope someone can help me, much abliged (<-spelling?)

The axle will not work period because of the problems I stated. If you are hoping to keep up with banshees, you wasting your time. Take all that money you are going to sink in that blaster and get a banshee instead.

the problems you stated consist of the brake rotors being diff, and the whole job not being a simple install....I know it's not a quicky type job, and i now know i won't have back brakes. So will the axle not work for only these problems or will it not work anyway at all?...I'm not looking to keep up with a banshee. Or the rest of the 4 wheeled vehicles that can beat me in this world. they have a bigger bank acount along with there bigger set of wheels. I bought a blaster because i wanted a blaster. And i think my blaster would look and handle better with this other axle. An aftermarket axle would be great and may be my only option. but the same results at quarter cost is worth looking into i think.

In simple terms..........IT WON'T WORK AT ALL!!! Put some wheel spaces on it if you want to make it wider without spending a lot of bucks. The cheap spacers are only around $65 at http://www.moto-man.com/. I can't believe you would actually be willing to ride with no rear brakes?!

thanks for all the info!...spacers will probably be the way to go....And my brakes don't work wether my wheeler is wider or not. So that was never to big of a deal...kinda one of those "old enough to know better but young enough to not care" things. Or is it "dumb enough to not care?"....Anyway thanks again!
