raptor or rancher

I'd get a Wolverine (or maybe I should say that I got a Wolverine)
It's the best of both worlds.
Seriously, it a Raptor appeals to you, don't get a Rancher, but with a Wolverine you can go riding with people who have sport quads, and, once you learn the technique, you can go anywhere other 4x4s can go.
It's a true Jack-of-all-trades machine.

One of the best traits of the raptor in my opinion is it's ability to easily lift the front end. Heck, I love to ride around on the back tires and do so as much as possible. If you haven't had much experience on ATVs (sounds like that is so) don't even think about a Raptor. If you want a heavy front end get a warrior. They are near impossible to wheelie compared to a raptor and aren't as powerful. As the old saying goes "If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen."

DANG... seems like someone's got a serious attitude problem.
People don't come in here to get trashed, they are looking for advice. Why don't you try giving advice for a change instead of trying to be some bad a$$.
...and as far as the Warrior goes... I have had mine for exactly 2 weeks and can already get the front end up WHENEVER I need it to and so can anyone who wants to, I am sure.

Hey, im just stating the facts as I see them and I don't beat around the bush about it either. The guy obviously has no idea what he wants since he was comparing a raptor to a rancher. My guess is that he is about 13 or 14 and really isn't ready for either one. You know there is a reason why those stickers are all over the fenders that say no one under the age of 16. The reason is that uneducated parents let their young kids get these quads that are too powerful and too big. Then, sooner or later, the kid ends up getting hurt because he/she do not have the common sense and maturity to operate it in a safe manner. Then the parents end up sueing the ATV manufacturers and winning. End of story. Sorry, but thats my opinion and a fact. BTW, I said COMPARED TO A RAPTOR. I did not say a warrior would not wheelie at all.

Raptorzone, I think you need to get off your high horse and thinking everyone is a kid...every post I have read of yours as been a very undignified post. You think your ****t dont stink...that is just not right...if you cant say anything positive or helpful...stop typin!
He is trying to decide between 2 different quads, something that many people do. What makes you think that you are all knowing and know his experience or his age?
Just because you can not get a warrior to stand up, does not mean no one else can. Warriors are EASY as pie to stand up, IF you know how....
