My modded Raptor beat by a stock 400EX

Don't get bent out of shape till you here the rest of the story.
In this corner, my Raptor with Big Gun Race, DynoJet, Uni, 12 tooth front. His, stock other than 16 tooth counter sprocket, two teeth smaller rear.
I weigh 210 (It's been a long winter), he goes maybe 110 soaking wet. I couldn't keep the front end down to get a good start and you couldn't pull a wheelie on that dog if you tried. I guess the way they had it geared was for the type of riding they do. Claims they were shifting too much.
We went through all gears and then about 100 ft. and I started to pull up on him at the end but never got a wheel on him.
His brother got on my Raptor, he weighs about 110, and the Raptor won every time.
Switched machines and I wanted my Raptor back in about 5 minutes. Just not that impressive geared so high like that.
All in all, we had a awesome day of riding and turned about 4 guys into Raptor lovers.
Oh, one more thing,.... I need to go on a diet

I should have stated the point of my story is I was never concerned about top speeds or drag race results, there are to many factors that determine the outcome. I like the way my Raptor acts with the 12 tooth and the ability to wheelie at the punch of the throttle. Maybe I would of been more impressed with the EX if it had stock gearing, But I bet not. Don't get me wrong, my Raptor rips! I'll just have to throw a 100 lb. sack of potatoes on his Quad and run him again! Bet I'll win then!
