I'm wondering if anybody has bored out their Wolverine to accept a Kodiak 400 piston. The difference is 1.5 mm, so the increase in displacement wouldn't be enormous, but it is also small enough that the Wolverine cylinder should handle it easily.
I want to go to a high compression piston, but before I order the parts I'd like to check into getting a bit more displacement.

I have HEARD that you can slap a wolverine top-end on a warrior, but dont know if it really works? Just figured I'd throw that in...

A 400 kodiak top end will bolt right on a Warrior or Wolverine bottom. All three engines are from the same family so many of the parts are interchangable aside from the differences in drive and clutch configurations. Really, though, it would be much cheaper to buy a big bore kit with a new sleeve. Powroll sell a 365cc big bore kit for $249 and also offers a 430cc bore and stroke job for $642.
