I just got my lsr +4 swing arm yesterday, I am going to be mounting it this fri. What I would like to know is if you cut your chain, and spliced a peice in ( and how much you added in links if possible) or if you bought a new chain, and what the end size was.

Also if you have any install tips I would appreciate it... I am installing a lsr axle at the same time

Thanks

I put in a 8" piece of chain. Dont know how many links that is. Be ready, your gonna need some new bolts, lip seals, and a banshee chain guide. Also a new +4 stainless braided rear brake line, and an emergency brake blockoff plate. But it is worth every penny ya spent on it.

Zebra
thanks for the info...

I just got done mounting, and you were right I honestly wish LSR would have included some of the needed bolts/dust seals that do not work from the stock swing arm. I put a o-ring seal in the dust cover on the one side until I can get to a yamaha shop and buy a bashee dusk cover cap and seal (raptor's is bigger) I ended up buying a new chain, and I was able to use the stock break line. The swing arm and axle makes a huge difference on stability and keeping the front end down night and day...

anyways thanks again
