I recently bought a 2004 Yamaha 250 BearTracker, the owner said it ran good and then one day it stopped getting spark. i tore the harness apart to find a orange and white wire burned/melted in the harness along with a black wire. i replaced the wires and it fired off after some extensive cranking. now it bogged down and will not start again, it has intermittent spark or none at all. what I want to do is take the harness apart and just use the bare necessities, none of the safety switches or lights or crap. i can add killswitches and lights as needed but since it will be used for hunting im not too concerned. does anyone have a diagram of JUST the stuff needed to run or a simple diagram? please and thank you.
