Hello folks. I gave my father an old kodiak a few years back (99 model) and now have a chance to pick up a 2002 version of the bike. Just wondering any compatible parts between the two bikes or are they different altogether? Didn't the newer one go with an automatic approach with the shifter on the fender and a 4wd you can disengage? Are the racks compatible?

Anything else I should know besides their bulletproofedness?
