05 grizzly 660 wont start

Default 05 grizzly 660 wont start

Hey yall i am new here and have a problem with a grizzly 660 i purchased for cheap because it wont start i am pretty good with motors figured it wouldnt be a problem but i have checked cleaned adjusted and replaced everything i can think of cleaned entire fuel system replaced woodruff key cleaned reseated and adjusted valves checked timing changed spark plug twice fresh gas teplaced air filter tried a shot of starting fluid but after all that still all i get is a small pop every once in a while with no starting pretty much a big scrap pile right at the moment and deer season right around the corner any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanx yall

Default No worries

Quick update figured it out leek off test revealed bad rings yee haw time to do the rest of the top end might still have it before deer season

Did wonder why there was no mention of you doing a compression test. It must be very low for it not to run, I would expect it to need something more than rings when you take the head off.

you prob have week compression i would buy rings but first take it apart and take a look at them
