I have a '94 Warrior. It has a White Brothers performance kit with a high compression piston, White Bros. midrange cam, titanium valves, heavy duty valve springs etc. It also has a K&N Filter, Dynojet jet kit, and SuperTrapp Aluminum Racing Series Muffler. It also has stock gearing, 13 tooth front sprocket, and 40 tooth rear. The problem is, the top end is no better than stock. The bottom end is unbelievable. I have never ridden a four-stroke that had as much torque as my quad. I never have to upshift this thing it just climbs. I am very impressed with the unbelievable power this quad has for a 350 four stroke. But when I get out of the woods and on the open trail I am always searching for another gear. It seems to me that it is capable of going a whole lot faster considering the power the motor has. It just feels restricted. I would sacrifice some bottom end to get some more on the top. I thought about moving to a 14 tooth front sprocket but how much can difference can one tooth make? The other thing is someone can correct me if I am wrong but my quad should have as much power as a 400EX am I correct? So even if I went to a 15 tooth and say a 39 on the back I should be okay right? Or would I lose too much on the bottom? I guess the different transmissions would have to be taken into account as well. This is a real dilemma. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated.

I have a bone stock 95 warrior. I am going up to a 14 tooth front and down to a 38 tooth back. My cousin who also has a stock 2000 warrior went up to a 14 tooth front and he can still start out in 2nd gear without giving it any throttle. You quad should be able to pull a 15 tooth front being that you have it all modded up. You might also be safe going down to a 38 tooth rear. You will notice an increase in speed just going to the 14/40 or the 14/38. But if your quad has the bottom end you say it has you will be able to pull 15/40 nicely and maybe the 15/38-39 nicely also. Since you have GOOBS of bottom end I would go with the 15/38. You can always downshift when climbing hills if you are running out of power!

Just my opinion, hope it helps!
