So im currently putting my 2001 tranny back together stock, and i was putting the cases back together and this piece just appeared on my desk, and im not sure what it is. I dont want to continue because it is obviously for something. Anyone that could let me know would be greatly appreciated.. thank you in advance 😃😃
No experience of Raptors at all, but half of that collar shows signs of rust, so it goes on a shaft that runs from inside to outside of case, almost certain that collar will run in an oil seal. So either on crankshaft behind a pull start (if it has one,) or on output shaft from gearbox to prop shaft or sprocket, is my guess.
Looks like a spacer for behind the drive sprocket reminds me of the one on warriors. I would check there. You can go to partzilla.com and look at the parts diagram and figure it out.
number 25 on the list, goes on output shaft half inside seal half outside. then a plate for bolting sprocket,- flex washer - finally the nut to ensure all is tight in the output shaft... so don’t worry that’s a last step kinda piece and your work so far looks good from what I see of the pics...
