Default Warrior Only Starts When Cold

I have a 2004 Warrior that starts up fine when its the first start of the day or it has cooled down to air temp, but when I go to fire it back up after riding for a bit all it does is crank. After many tries to start it when its hot, it will eventually fire up but not on a consistent basis. After it is running it runs great! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Check the valve clearances. Yams are usually the opposite way, won't start cold due to clearance problems, but you never know. Check plug nose colour, black and sooty means the carb is set rich, or choke sticking, or air filter blocked. could be an electrical problem, something breaking down when warm. Try a new plug, and check if it is sparking when the fault is on.

Ohm out your stator too I bet it is getting weak. Try pop starting it when its warm and see how it starts if it starts right up its more than likely the stator.
