Default Raptor 350 cutting out after 20-45 min of riding

So I bought my 2004 raptor 350 a year ago or so. And if been riding it for a while with no problems. At the start of this season I would ride it for about 20-45 min and it cuts out. I have to wait about 20-40 minuetes then it starts again or I switch it to Res on the gas put the tank is full

I need help!!

Are you saying it will re-start instantly if you put it on reserve? If so you have a partly blocked filter in the fuel tank. The reserve usually works from a different intake pipe and filter to the main one, inside the tank.

I still have to wait but putting it on red speeds it up. How do I fix that, is it a tough job

Check the vent for the fuel tank isn't blocked. When the fault is on, slacken the cap and, if you get a sucking sound and the bike fires up again, you have a blocked tank vent.

Can be an electrical problem, one of the components breaks down when hot, and works again after it cools, check for a spark when the fault is on. Putting it on reserve, wouldn't help for this though.

"wheres the fuel vent."

Don't know on a Raptor, on most quads it is in the fuel filler cap.
