I am trying to buy a new quad and heard on the radio that my local yamaha dealer has a deal where you can finance a quad for $69 dollars a month. Is it worth it or does it have any huge finance charges or any other bull$#@! like that!

Be careful, it is only 69 dollars for the blaster. Warrior is just under 100 bucks and Banshee is over 100 bucks. That is only for the first year, then it goes up. Plus, they set you up with a Yamaha credit card (your ATV is your first purchase on the card) and entice you to buy all your accessories on the card. Bottom line is by the time you figure this out on your own, you will be screwed. My buddy did this and I cautioned him against it. He wanted a pipe, no problem! How about some tires and a twist throttle? Got that too. He ended up paying dealers prices for his aftermarket accessories, and racked up his "credit card".
Safer to get your machine, any riding gear you need and the add-ons you will be wanting, total it up and go to your bank or credit union and get your loan there. That way, you won't have to save up, or put stuff on a high rate card.

The only way these offers are ever a good deal is if you plan to refiniance or pay it off before there intro offer exspires. They are a great tool for that but, if you don't have the finiancial means or disipline to pay it off before the intro ends then stay away from these offers.

local banks are the way to go, if you can just get a loan from them, then at least you have a constant % rate that wont change.. with the yammy creditcard or whatever if you make even one payment late your percentage rate goes through the roof and you end up paying at least $500 more, mabe even $1,000.. for nothing...

On those offers you are only paying the intrest. Usually about 25% APR. Be Carefull!
