Well, today I partially disassembled and cleaned the carb. I discovered that the pilot screw was at 2 turns and the float was at least 1/8" out of adjustment. I changed the pilot to 3 1/2 turns and set the float to 14.7mm as per the spec. It definitely runs much better so far but, I only took it around the block. It definitely idles better and there is good reaction to the choke lever that I didn't have before. I will run it for a few miles tomorrow and see how it does.
