Tirinty Racing.. my $.02

I wouldn't buy from trinity racinga again if it was free. They are by far the most incompetent shop/place I have ever heard of.
Not only do they NOT stand behind there product, they'll promise you they have a part in stock, take your credit card number, then wait 5 weeks for it to come in stock and ship it.
Do your self a favor and run when you see Trinity... the headaches aren't worth it!!!

I recently ordered a twist throttle w/ a ss cable and a Yamaha front brake master cylinder w/ lever for my 250R from Trinity. It did take a little longer than I thought to get it (but I wasn't in a hurry) but the service (George) was great and he cut me a good price on the master cylinder - less than 1/2 of what a Honda part would cost.
However, for anything major I plan on using PSI Performance. My current plan is to replace my 250cc with one of their 425cc two-stroke motor's w/ a dial-a-dome head good for 72 hp. In it's current form (roughly 40 hp) it's faster than my Raptor - can't imagine it with nearly twice the hp - OUCH!!!

xtreme165,
LRD would be my back-up choice. They were my first choice until I found PSI. I have heard the same thing about it being more reliable than stock. It may be true, but I don't have any experience to know for sure.
The biggest draw back with the PSI 425 motor is that it'll cost me around $4,000 with all the options. That's pretty steep but it's supposed to be a bullet-proof motor with arm-ripping power. At its introductory open class TT race, it beat 2nd place by over 1/2 a lap. WOW!!!
It will mainly be used for the dunes and some drag racing at places like Rocky Ridge and Muenster. I'm not wanting to abuse it on the rocky trail rides and MX tracks. Maybe get another Raptor or 400ex for that. I may just forget about the MX tracks all together and go with a Kawasaki Prairie 650 V-Twin for all-around fun riding.
Let me know if you try the LRD!

Alcohol does boost the hp but I'm not excited about the negative side of it, such as dried out seals. If 72 hp doesn't cut it for me, maybe I should look into another sport.
I've heard good things about FTZ as well and I'll look a little closer at their products. Thanks...
