Let’s turn back the clock in 1986-87 I was a lanky high school kid when my brothers wife bought him a brand new Yamaha Moto 4, it was love at first sight for me, and my big brother actually let me ride it a lot over the years. It was sort of my first car romance with an ATV although it was not mine.
so fast forward to 2019, I needed an ATV and found this 350 on Facebook, it was love all over again, yeah it’s old, yeah it’s a dinosaur, and yes I love it!
I picked up my Moto 4 a month ago and ride it daily, among the projects I want to do, I would like to replace the wheels and tires. I want new steel rims( I think as I ride in the woods and over some rough terrain )and also replace the tires.
can someone tell me what size wheels for front and back?
suggestions where I could order both wheels and tires already mounted ? Can you also recommend or explain pros and cons of new styles of ATV tires compared to what this old girl came with. I love this 4 wheeler and want to restore it to the best of my ability. By the way my brother still has his too!
