Default New carb, after warmup dies

Have a Yamaha big bear 400, 2000 year model. Put a new carb on it ran good for weeks..at sometime I added a choke cable (didn’t have when I bought, but started ok) ran good choke helped on cold morns. Now when I start no choke needed to start and after warm up it will die weather idling or cruising. Acts like it’s flooding out after warm up... checked plug ..look like running rich..also changed out coil ...I have old carb and a new carb rebuild kit.. need some input b4 I tackle this... I’ve been thinking float but this carb is new. Thx

Fit a new plug for a start, can't hurt. Check that new choke mechanism isn't sticking, so the carb is on choke all the time. Check air filter. If all that is OK, rebuild your old carb, fit it, and see if the fault goes away.
