Default Rear axle

I installed my new rear axle the other day, got my 4x4 working again, but now the back end wants to jump up every time i shift up. It only mainly does it when I shift from neutral to first. Plus now the 350 seems like its off center when it rides. Seems like the back end wants to go from right and push to the left. Otherwise rides good. What is causing it to jerk up like that?

You have got something wrong, brake possibly. Take it apart again and check everything. We used to get Yam rear axle shafts reconditioned, as genuine new ones are expensive. While the axle was away on (I think), a Timberwoolf I stuck an old 350 (Bruin?) axle shaft on it so we could roll it about, surprisingly the shaft fitted and was the same, except for the length, so are you sure you bought the right axle?

Default axle

well, a couple things. I took the brakes right out and I made sure I got the right part number 4gb-25381-10-0. I read on Polaris forum, guy said to put bike's rear on blocks and spin axle, to see if theres any warps.

It doesn't look like there s any warps. On a side note, now my carburetor wants to act up. I will press start button and she'll turn over fine but without kicking in. It'll turn over for about 15 seconds, only then will it kick in but just for about 3 seconds then go back to turning over. Is it what I think it is?

Can be anything, carb or ignition, first thing is to see if it is sparking at the plug. Then, does choke make any difference?

Choke no. I heard it might be timing. But, I'll check my spark and timing marks

Cheked timing: good. When flywhhel mark is lined up, cam is also lined up. Spark is good. Seems like while it's turning over, it'll pop just underneath my gas tank, (or inside), like my gas tank wants to explode.

Change the plug anyway, check the air filter, then clean the carb out.

I put new plug in and other 2, and runs better. the guy that works at my local gas station suggested I shouldnt use regular gas for small engines. So i emptied my gas tank, and put in premium. I dont know if that is the reason for the change. Thinking back on it, did he mean 2 stroke or 4 stroke or both. cause obviously, mines a 4. (the former gas was 87 and had ethanol).
