Also....A guy in the Bombardier forum made a Blow-off valve and put it on his DS....anyone know how I would do this...also...anyother place besides Mr. Turbo that I could send my raptor to to have the whole setup done and do you have any idea how much it would cost?

 

Hey, my turbo's running hot, let's spray it with methanol! Sounds very safe to me. I know of a lot of guys that run with water sprayers on their turbos. Some say it works at keeping it cool and others say they don't see a difference so who knows.

Secondly, Aerodyne didn't use an intercooler for various reasons but one of them wasn't because of the stop and go of ATV's. It's a very simple concept, small turbo system (like for a quad) only requires a small intercooler. What do cars do with their intercoolers? We don't keep boost built up in the intake tract so we've got the same problems as the ATV. Turboed road racing cars deal with the stop and go and they run intercoolers.

Things that make you go hmmm???

GuyRaptor sounds like he knows turbos well enough. I for one have learned something...to put more paper in the printer on posts like these. Keep it up.

It looks like Aerocharger can't pump out turbos fast enough. Mr. Turbo says it may take 2 months to get the turbos stocked for the Raptor kit.
