hello I am thinking of buying Yamaha blaster which engine oil and 2-stroke oil would you recommend and I need to change the oil in a few km?

 

I know it's been a few weeks but I'll give my 2 cents. I got a 2001 blaster brand new. Broke it in with Yamaha 2 stroke injection oil. Blocked off the injection and started running amsoil dominator 50:1 and re jetted. I ran that bike for 8 years and never did a top end. When I was done with it I had a couple seasons of drag racing on it. I was a kid and on a budget. I had ported the jug milled the head advanced the timing and ran a cpi drag pipe ect...kept the top end competitive. When I started drag racing the clutch couldn't handle the 2nd gear wot launches. I switched to amsoil 75-90 gear lube and was able to make the clutch hook up again. I don't run amsoil in any track cars but I am a firm believer of it in 2 strokes.
