Default Yamaha banshee tm28 jetting help

Ok so I got a banshee project given to by my dads buddy’s wife when he passed away and I need help with the jetting. It’s got 28mm flat slide carbs, pod filters, cool heads, tooney t5s with husk kit and boysen rad valves/reeds.

It come with 20 pilots and 350 mains it will run and idle but when drive and are about to hit the power band it will just fall on its face and act like it’s just cutting itself out

With a modified engine all you can do is find out if it is running rich or weak then either go up or down jet sizes until you get the right ones. A check on plug nose colour will give some indication of which way to go, black and sooty = rich, white = lean. With a 2 stroke the oil complicates things, as a high oil to fuel ratio makes the plug nose blacker than it would normally be.
