Yep...I finally did it! I came over to the dark-side..LOL Just kidding. I am getting my Raptor on Friday. I already ordered the DG Alloy Nerfbars, Holeshots and inverted the rims for width.

What other mods would be important in the next few months? I was thinking of wider a-arms, the +4 axle and Renthals plus a pipe. Is new suspension a must?

Thanks guys. I now have an extended family here on ATV Connection

I would geta good wrench kit (it should include axle straightener, carb holders...etc), and a strap, in case a 15 year ols "pro" machine passes you and you want to catch up.
Shocks will make a huge difference. But you will still loose drag races (but might attempt some tabletops).

all the bs aside the first mods should be! a new air filtration system like pro-flow next would be a uni filter for the crank case vent that goes to the airbox. some protection like the gyt-r engine skid that sticks out to protect the water pump and hose. then maybee a better front bumper, and a hour meter to keep track of the oil changes.

Don't forget your swingarm skidplate. Me putting off buying one, cost me the price of a new brake disc. Live and Learn!!
