Yamaha wolverine 450 4x4 won't move when put in gear
#1
I have a 06 wolverine. My buddy disconnected the shifter rod and reconnected back when he was finished working on it but now it will not move when I put it in gear. I put it on cement blocks and got the wheels to start turning slowly once I put it in gear but they weren't turning faster when I hit the throttle. Any help would be appreciated

Yeah I went through that same issue with my 2003 Yamaha Wolverine. My issue was the centrifugal clutch, so change that. I’m fairly certain that’s your issue.
While you’re in there take a look at the regular clutch, I changed that at well. And make sure the one way bearing on the centrifugal clutch is the right way, the bearing will say which way to put it. I had mine the wrong way and the bike wouldn’t move either so it may be that. If you’re unsure which way the bearing goes, put it in one way and then if it doesn’t work take it apart and flip it the other way.
good luck my friend, most people don’t have wolverines so not many people willing to offer help.
