97 big bear 400 4x4
#2
There are several on-line sellers like partzilla or https://www.yamahapart.com/oemparts/c/yamaha_atv/parts who list all parts still available from Yamaha. Even stuff that has been discontinued can sometimes be found on eBay or Amazon if you Google the part number, which you will usually find in these on-line parts books. Don't forget it is 25 years old, makers won't continue to supply parts for ever. Breakers are another alternative, many list on eBay etc, now.

Previous owners are often very vague about what they are selling. Even the badges can be wrong. We recently had a Honda 90 in with Kawasaki stickers on it. Unless you have checked the makers plate or VIN number you can't be sure of date, and if it is a 97, as papa hog scoot wrote above, can you tell the difference between a 97 Big Bear 350 and a 97 Kodiak?
