I have a 2001 Bear Tracker 250 with throttle issues. I did buy an aftermarket carb and after adjusting it, it starts, idles perfectly. However it will not take WOT. It starts cutting out. I noticed that the main jet in the new carb had a slightly larger bore compared to the original main. Would that slightly larger bore cause it to cut out?

 

Could be getting a rich mixture at WOT, worth trying old main jet and seeing if that improves things.
