Default 2005 bruin 350

I have a 2005 bruin 350 I just changed the carburetor, it now boggs out and backfires, I check all my vacuum hoses, and they are attached. I don't know what else to do besides, put the old carburetor back on or bring it to a dealer. Any help would be greatly, appreciate thank you.

Clean the old carb out. Remove jets and blow through them, and the holes they came from, out with compressed air. Check inlet manifold for cracks and refit old carb. Chinese clone carbs are rarely set up properly so may need the jet needles setting and sometimes have the wrong jets. Bit puzzled as to your "vacuum hoses" ref as Bruins don't have any, just breathers.

You should clean vacuum hoses.
