What Horsepower Are You Guys Making With Your Banshees??
#2
I have no idea.
My mods are:
FMF Fatty pipes/pc II silencers
K&N filter
Pro-FLow adaptor
DynoJet Jet Kit
Wiseco pro lite pistons +.020"
Ported cylinders
Cool-Head with 19cc domes
I estimate that I am near 50ish horsepower.
Sometime, I plan on taking it to a local shop and have dyno'd to find out.
Regards,
Rog

check www.mobiledyno.com.
I have Graydon-Crapline pipes, a k&N airbox lid on, and not much compression...that'd mean I'm somewhere in the 35 hp...maybe less. I seriously doubt the Graydon pipes gave me any added power (it looks like I lost top end power!).
Stock, a banshee puts out 34hp (that's what mobiledyno says), and with simple mods, it reaches almost 50hp. Add a 400cc big bore, and you aren't far from 60hp.

I was at 48 rear wheel with ADA Head 20cc domes, FMF Fattys, stock carbs, V-Force reeds and a rec. port job. Just added PWK 35's, 18cc domes (race gas) CPI inframe pipes, and alot more porting and exhaust porting. Have not had the bike back on the dyno yet, but I would guess between 65-70
