My Raptor chain is really built up with mud and gunk clining to the chain wax. I have read that kerosene cleans them best, but was wondering if anyone has some tips / tricks to the process. I was thinking of making the process faster by brushing the kerosene on the chain, still on the bike, and hosing it off. Any suggestions?
Thanks.....

Clean a chain then oil it, never hose it off then oil it untill the water has dried or you lock the moisture in the chain.

You have one major problem. The chain is endless, so you can't remove it to be able to clean it right. I used a chain breaker, and installed a master link....problem solved. If you do this, be sure you use a D.I.D. master link, as they are all different. Removal for proper cleaning is the only answer.
