Riding boots?
#2
The Tech 8s are really nice..
I went with the cheapie Thor T-10s. I found for ATV riding you don't need a full tilt motorcross boot, it's over kill, or at least IMHO. The T-10s will let your ankle bend more than a true bike boot, which I found to be really nice.
I got my for $99 (I think) from magic racing. www.magicracing.com

If I were to buy some boots my choices would be:
Thor T20's if money is an issue ($120.),
If not I'd go with the Fox Forma ($250.) or the Acerbis Sphere ($206.) All look like FINE TOUGH boots, one of these days I'll pick up a pair.. I like the looks of the fox and acerbis.. and the thors for that price you cant go wrong..

I wore inexpensive riding boots for 20 years. Two years ago I slid on a pair of Alpinestars (tech 8's are Alpinstars, right?), and immediately wondered what the hell I had waited for. I think my new boots are more comfortable than my tennis shoes. You may not need the PROTECTION of a more expensive boot while ATV riding, but I couldn't wear my old boots just knowing that I don't have to put up with their fit.
Good luck,
